I’m pretty sure I said it before but I’ll say it again – cosmetics product photography is cool. A lot goes into the packaging, materials and the overall presentation of cosmetic products, making the entire process of photographing really interesting and enjoyable. The latest lipstick product shoot, you’re viewing right now, was no different and resulted in some truly striking images. Uncomplicated, elegant and eye-catching; perfect for magazine ad, promotional materials, posters as well as packaging. Vertical images can be used for social media campaigns.
Those interested in technical aspects of this shoot, and product photography in general, may be interested in a fact that all of the images were shot with just a single monoblock flash. The very simple lighting setup doesn’t mean of course, that the resulting images would not be refined or would lack sophistication.
